A Little About Me
So you want to get to know the man behind the curtain eh? Well, it all started...

A long time ago in a small town, not so very far away (Mount Vernon), I was born. In high school I happened to get scheduled into an art class that was located in the same room as the video department and would spend the hours I was supposed to be drawing a still life, mesmerized by the pile of wires and computer towers that were the editing stations.

After a little asking around, I found out that the video production class was an actual credit, not the extra-curricular activity I had initially assumed. Armed with this knowledge, I managed to talk the instructor into letting me take the class. I spent the next two years in that class, learning about editing and barging into classrooms, capturing the moments on top of the line Sony Hi-8 camcorders.

Post high school, I wanted to continue with my video production interest and attended the local community college... for one semester. I couldn't stand it. Not only did they have inferior video classes compared to the high school, you could only get into them after so many years attending. So, I left and joined the Marine Corps.

Life in the Marine Corps had it's ups and downs. I really liked the location (Camp Pendlton near San Diego) but was unable to get a position that had to do with video in any way shape or form. I DID manage to get into the Marine Corps College Fund upon enlistment, the very thing that has paid my way through The Art Insitute, the school I just recently graduated from with an AA in Video Production.

As an intern, I caught a lucky break and was able to land a temp positing editing/capturing video for Monolith Productions, the creators of the popular F.E.A.R. franchise of computer and console video games and eventually was promoted to a full-time employee.

I now edit mostly marketing and highlight videos for the various titles WB Games (parent company of Monolith) releases, including the most recently announced, Lord of the Rings: War in the North.

Whew... now you know the basics. If you have any questions, please feel free to shoot me an email. Just click my name following this post. ---> –Jason
